This role is a research assistant (pre-doctoral level) position in the Centre for Implementation Science (CIS) at King's College London. The Centre, in collaboration with Barts Health NHS Trust and in partnership with a number of national bodies in the speciality of urology, has been awarded a research grant by The Urology Foundation and The Schroder Foundation to develop the 'Education in Quality Improvement Programme' for urology specialist trainees in the UK (EQUIP).
The ambition of the EQUIP is to develop a nationally scalable, evidence-based and user-informed training and capacity development programme in improvement skills amongst all cohorts of urological surgery specialist trainees in the UK.
The post-holder will play a pivotal role in driving the EQUIP programme forward and have ample opportunity for research and other outputs - including peer-reviewed papers in high-impact clinical and improvement science journals; national and international conference attendance; and exposure to a globally leading, collaborative and nourishing research environment within the Centre for Implementation Science.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 2 years.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a panel interview and brief assessment.
Salary: per annum £31,883 - £35,459
