Prostate cancer affects the whole family. We see you.

Every year, more than 52,000 people are diagnosed with prostate cancer.

We know that every time someone is diagnosed with prostate cancer, their whole family is affected. From partners and children, to parents, siblings and the wider family and friends network; a prostate cancer diagnosis can impact many people. We see you and want you to know that we’re working hard to fight prostate cancer and support the healthcare professionals involved in caring for those with prostate cancer.

Life after prostate cancer can come with new challenges. We hear you.

Prostate cancer can have a profound impact on the physical and mental wellbeing of the people who experience it. The effects of prostate cancer treatment can bring new challenges. Urology health may not go back to normal immediately and new challenges can arise. We hear you and we understand that life may have changed but there can be help available.

We encourage anyone facing new challenges after prostate cancer to speak to your healthcare professional.

The medical and scientific communities work tirelessly to help those affected by prostate cancer. We thank you.

We thank every single medical and scientific professional who is working hard to help those affected by prostate cancer.

At The Urology Foundation, our goal is to fight urology diseases including prostate cancer. We believe we can only achieve that that by supporting and equipping the urology profession.

Whether you are a registrar, nurse, consultant, trainee, or surgeon, our goal is to give you the skills, knowledge, and networks to make you the best urology professional you can be. We have education and training opportunities, as well as research grants for those with ideas on improving urology health both scientifically and clinically.

See how we can support you here.

Patients, families, healthcare professionals, researchers. We’re behind you.

At The Urology Foundation, we work hard to make a difference in prostate cancer and all urology diseases.

Patients are at the heart of everything we do and we work tirelessly to support the medical and scientific communities to improve outcomes in prostate cancer.

Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

March is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and to mark this important occasion, The ‘We See You’ campaign is: raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of prostate cancer; encouraging people to speak to their healthcare professional with any concerns; providing a platform for people to share their experiences of prostate cancer; and supporting those involved in fighting this disease. We firmly believe that we can all make a change for people experiencing prostate cancer both now and in the future.

We encourage everyone to share your stories of your experiences of prostate cancer using #ProstateCancerAndMe

We launched in March and will be running throughout Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and beyond. We have developed resources for those impacted by prostate cancer, which healthcare professionals can also order to be used with their patients.

Get in touch if you’d like to find out more.
