Join the 2.6 Challenge!

Join the 2.6 Challenge and help save the UK's charities.

TUF is participating in the 2.6 Challenge.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on charities, with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in fundraising income.  With the need to raise money to support our vital work the response is the 2.6 challenge.

The 2.6 Challenge launches on Sunday 26 April,  which should have been the date of the 40th London Marathon, the world’s biggest one-day annual fundraising event, hence the challenge name.

We’re asking you as a TUF supporter to please either make a donation to TUF or take part in an activity of your choice based around the numbers 26 or 2.6 in order to ensure that we can continue our vital work in urology research and training, and supporting urology health professionals.

Take a challenge on your own or involve those that you are sharing a house with.   You could use your daily exercise to clock up the mileage by walking, running or cycling.  You could go online with 26 friends and have a virtual exercise class, have a quiz or play board games, all while fundraising for TUF.  If you can’t get on a golf course,  set up a putting challenge in your home or in the garden.  The ideas and options are endless!  Keep an eye on our social media where we will be posting some further challenge ideas over the coming days   

The only requirement is that you must follow Government guidelines on exercise and social distancing and that you take due care when taking exercise.  Most people are taking part on Sunday 26 April 2020 but you can do your activity whenever is most convenient for you.

There are just five simple steps to take up a 2.6 challenge for TUF:

  1. Dream up your 2.6 challenge
  2. Head to our twopointsixchallenge Just Giving page to set up your own fundraising page
  3. Ask all your friends and family to sponsor you and challenge them to do their own 2.6 Challenge for TUF
  4. Complete your challenge
  5. Share a photo or video of your challenge on social media with #TUF_Tweets #TwoPointSixChallenge or send to us a copy to
