Applications are invited to join The Urology Foundation Scientific and Education Committee (SEC)

The Urology Foundation (TUF) was started by urologists to advance understanding and practice for the benefit of urology patients. We are the only charity in the UK and Ireland that covers all urological conditions and cancers. Our mission is to support and develop the best urology research, training and education that leads to the best possible patient care. TUF is administered by a Board of Trustees which includes urologists and lay people.
The SEC meets once a year (usually in March) and ongoing business is usually conducted by email. SEC membership is made up of some of the UK’s top urological surgeons and researchers.  This is an honorary post but expenses will be reimbursed. The Committee’s responsibilities include:
  • Review and assess Research applications and decide on grant funding for a range of other TUF awards and programmes (full programme details available from TUF).
  • Make recommendations for and suggest changes to TUF’s awards and programmes.
  • Promote The Foundation’s work and programmes to the wider urological community.
Applications should consist of no more than two sides of A4, detailing your suitability for the post, together with a brief CV (max 2pp) and posted or emailed to:

Professor Grant Stewart, SEC Chairman
