Team Corbs charity t-shirts being sold in aid of TUF

England and Lions rugby star Alex Corbisiero is raising money to support a TUF study in to testicular cancer and this includes producing his own chaity t-shirt to help raise funds.

England and Lions rugby star, Alex Corbisiero, had an illustrious career playing for England as a junior before making his senior debut for England in a Six Nations match against Italy in 2011.  He went on to play in four of the five games that saw England win the Six Nations Championship that year, in addition to being called up to represent England in the Rugby World Cup.  The following year he was a regular in the England team for both the Six Nations and in the summer and autumn internationals. He played in the 2013 British and Irish Lions tour to Australia and memorably scored the first try in their victorious test against Australia, which clinched the series for the Lions.

Alex has spoken eloquently about his testicular cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatments.

His upfront and positive approach is making a real contribution to breaking down the stigma around urology disease and he is really helping to get the message out to a wider audience about the need for men to routinely check their balls for testicular cancer and, if they feel any change, to see their GP straight away.

However, Alex wants to go further and is raising money for research by selling his own TeamCorbs branded t-shirts to fund a future TUF study into testicular cancer.

In order that the charity receives the maximum donation from each shirt sold, Alex has met the costs for design and distribution (so that’s free postage when you buy!) with all profits being donated to The Urology Foundation for future research in to testicular disease.

Alex has also set up a Just Giving Campagin called Team Corbs Against Testicular Cancer which you can find HERE
