30 Years of The Urology Foundation

For 30 years, The Urology Foundation has been transforming the urology space. We've been changing lives, funding vital research and education and driving positive change for the 1 in 2 of us who will experience a urology disease in their lifetime.

Now, we’re inviting YOU to be part of something special as we celebrate this incredible milestone!

Join us in making 2025 a year to remember! We have put together a Toolkit to help supporters, whether by fundraising, volunteering, or simply spreading the word. Together, we can make an even greater impact for patients, their families and friends, communities and the urology profession.

Be proud to support us. Be part of the celebration!

Achieving excellence for 30 years

In 2025, The Urology Foundation is celebrating a momentous milestone as we mark our 30th birthday.

We are incredibly proud of our achievements over the last 30 years and the impact we have made.

During this time, we have invested £10.8 million in ground-breaking urology research, skills training in innovative technologies and practices and education programmes. This has significantly advanced our understanding of urology cancers and conditions and how to treat them. Our work has enabled dozens of researchers to revolutionise urology care, and our ongoing projects across a wide range of conditions are building on our successes.

We have also made strides in raising awareness of urology health and disease and campaigning to improve outcomes and quality of life.

The Urology Foundation has helped to completely transform the urology space and we will continue to drive positive change and lead the fight against urology disease. One major achievement is that we pioneered the introduction of robotic urology surgery, enabling its safe and swift adoption by the NHS. This changed the face of urology cancer surgery.

Our work is transforming lives and building a better future for patients and their families.
