RSM Urology Section:Redundant! Do Urological surgeons have a future in treating urological cancers? details

Coordinated by Mr Ben Lamb (Section BAUS Oncology). A comprehensive educational day covering aspects of prostate, bladder and renal cancer diagnosis and management. The event will bring together key leaders within prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancer, who will provide concise and incisive updates on their subject areas before participating in discussion of future developments. It will be multidisciplinary and include nursing experts.

The learning objectives for the event are:

  1. Increase knowledge of the current management of urological cancers.
  2. Gain an understanding of the relative benefits and harms of treatments for urological cancers
  3. Improve attitudes towards a multidisciplinary approach when managing patients with urological cancers
  4. Become mentally and pragmatically prepared for future changes in the management of urological cancers

On this day trainees will also get the opportunity to present to compete for the Winter Short Papers Prize competition; Abstract Deadline 12/10/23.
