Thanks for your Support

The Urology Foundation would like to thank all of our donors for their ongoing support in these very difficult economic times. We recognise that not all of our supporters wish to be publically thanked and we are currently writing to them to ask for their permission to acknowledge their generosity on this website.

Not only do people give us financial donations but some people donate their time and skills which is a fantastic way to help us.

We are very grateful to the following people who helped us on a pro bono basis to create the film of the SpRUCE training – click here to view it.

Frank Lee and Jordan Durrant – Urologists

Frank and Jordan are very generously donating all proceeds from sales of their new Smartphone App to The Urology Foundation.

"The Foundation Urology SmartPhone Application is a reference application for Android Mobile Phones. With mobile access to the internet and online journals and electronic versions of popular text books, phones and PDAs are increasingly becoming vital equipment for junior doctors in the UK. However, we have come to realise that there are no 'quick reference' guides to dealing with common urological problems aimed at junior doctors managing urology patients for the first time. The app aims to provide just that with short, easily digestible chapters on 30 core topics. We appreciate that different hospitals will have differing protocols and policies, but we feel that this app provides a simple and easily understandable guide to the safe management of common urological emergencies and problems."

Frank Lee - Urology Consultant
Jordan Durrant - Urology Registrar

The app is on sale for a small fee (£1.50), with all proceeds going to The Urology Foundation. Click here to find out more. Or search for 'Foundation Urology' in the Android Market.

Available in Android Market

The Foundation is enormously grateful to Frank and Jordan for creating such a useful tool and for their ongoing support.

Ted Donnelly – Freelance Camera Man

Ted's father, Tony, was operated on for bladder cancer in 2004 and as a result the whole family understand the enormous impact urological disease such as this can have.

Since 2007 both Tony and Ted have been devoting their time and energy to help The Foundation raise the profile of urological diseases and the work that The Foundation does to help improve the diagnosis, treatment and management of these diseases.

Ted has produced various films documenting The Urology Foundation's events and has generated viral videos for the Internet.

The Foundation is enormously grateful to both Tony & Ted for their ongoing support.

If you would like to know more about Ted's filming work please got contact him at ted.cameraman@googlemail.com or go to his website www.videos4internet.com

Please continue to help us – we need your support more than ever now.

The economic environment in 2010 continues to be extremely challenging for The Foundation and we are already experiencing a shortfall in the level of donations received this year compared to 2009.

If you or your company would like to understand how you could donate some time to help support The Foundation, please contact or Christine Morris on 020 7713 9538.

If you would like to make a donation please contact the office on 020 7713 9538 or click here to take you to the ‘How to make a donation’ page.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
