Louise’s background encompasses communications, public affairs and lobbying. She worked in public affairs consultancy, managing clients as diverse as the Motorcycle Industry, Toytota Motor Europe, Standard Life, Cancer Research UK, British Heart Foundation and the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA). She was previously External Relations Director at the MLA before becoming Director of the National Campaign for the Arts, a membership body responsible for making the case for public funding for the arts.
Louise joined The Urology Foundation (TUF) in 2011 as its Chief Executive. During her time as CEO she significantly expanded TUF’s operations and raised its income, and diversified the research and programmes budget to include grants for nurses and research into patient treatment and care.
In 2021 Louise chose to step back into a part time role within TUF and is now responsible for its programmes and operations.
Louise is Senior Associate member of the Royal Society of Medicine and sits on its Urology Council.
