Jane MacQuitty is one of Britain’s leading wine writers, authors, judges and commentators. She started her career as wine and food correspondent for House & Garden magazine, followed by two years at the Consumers’ Association editing The Which? Wine Guide. Since the ‘80s Jane MacQuitty has been the Wine Correspondent and Drink Correspondent for The Times newspaper. Jane was awarded an MBE in the 2020 Queens Birthday Honours List.

She is renowned for her independent, outspoken stance on the wine world commenting, as one of the country’s top merchants noted, “without fear, or favour”.
Jane has hosted a number of fundraising dinners in aid of The Urology Foundation and became a TUF patron in September 2014.
