Originally called The British Urology Foundation, TUF was set up in 1995 by urologists, Professor Roger Kirby and Professor John Fitzpatrick. The aim of the Foundation, which continues to today, was to serve urologists in this country, research new cures and treatments for urology diseases, and to improve patient care for urology patients.
Since the early days, TUF has expanded substantially and remains, to this day, the only charity representing all urology diseases:
